Hahahaha - I wish it was just about growing a wart on your nose and wearing a pointy hat - but alas it is not. Plus I would have that wart removed post haste but still keep the pointy hat!
So what made me become a witch and how did I start? Well I fumbled my way through it - for years I had dabbled in learning about various craft things - i.e. pendulum, flower essences, tarot and oracle cards, paranormal investigations to name a few but really I had no clue what I was doing. It wasn't until I started doing a workshop run by a witch that I started to spark an interest in it - plus I think she was going to slap me silly as she was sick and tired of telling me that my guides were screaming at her to put a rocket up my backside to get me to do something. So I did - lucky for me that she has a teaching coven and was about to do a witchcraft 101 course and basically I jumped at the chance to do it. Plus there was food involved and I am a girl that loves cake!
So here I was surrounded by another 12 people in a workshop and I felt completely out of place - these people had dabbled into the craft and the only thing that I knew was I had the cackle down pat and that there would be a cauldron involved. Yes - I was so completely out of my element and out of control that I had no idea what I was doing nor what I actually needed. But as the day went on and I started to learn about what a coven does and what it is like to be a witch, I was intrigued. And threw caution to the wind, I jumped at the chance to become a maiden witch in the coven - with my 1 year and 1 day probation timeframe to see if I can master the art.
So that is how I started my journey...
